Every aspect of signage is undertaken, from the original drawing or artwork through to manufacture and installation.
Some projects will require planning permission and if necessary can advise and apply on your behalf.
With over 40 years experience in a variety of sign painting methods, Weddle & Co are masters with gold and silver leaf, oil and enamel work, among others.

This website shows our portfolio of work within three categories;
Traditional, Modern and Architectural.
The Traditional section displays projects completed using traditional fonts and methods, the Modern section boasts pictures of work undertaken using contemporary techniques and typefaces while the Architectural section reveals stunning examples of commissions that needed no lettering.
All of John’s work is brilliant, from the gold leaf sign writing on our honours boards to the modern vinyl lettering on our minibuses.
John always prepares and sends samples for any new project needing to be done. No job is ever too small or large for him. Everyone working with him is also polite, friendly and genuinely interested in the customers requirements.
John has worked for me since 1999 on the whole of my shop. This is to supply the main exterior signs panels and all of the internal glass gilded window panels to the front & side. He is polite, meticulous and very thorough indeed. We can always rely on him as we need to have fully trustworthy contacts working with us in our line of business. John has always been this kind of gentleman.
Kent has arguably the finest collection of original honours boards in the South East, dating back to the inauguration of the course in 1924. The boards take up almost the entire wall space in the clubhouse and are a constant reminder to Members and Visitors alike of the Clubs standing and heritage. We are extremely happy to have had John Weddle as our designated sign writer since 1991. He is the consummate professional, complete with reliability, punctuality and some very useful creative ideas to keep things fresh.
